Advertising Ka Kamal is part of an effort to understand advertising... Understand the creativity that happens behind the business of making people buy things they may or may not need... Understand what people sell and... More importantly, how they get through to their customers... Understand what people buy, and... More importantly, what convinces them to do so...

Wonder if individual efforts like these are ever picked up for awards...!
So... Here it goes...
One of things Advertising does (whether for commercial/marketing reasons or as a public service announcement), is raise the awareness levels of people about a product/service or an issue...
This Album would probably not pass the 'conventional advertising' muster...
But...
That is for you to decide...
New Orleans based designer Candy Chang has created a simple tool to help the residents of New Orleans share their opinions on the state of the city. She explains:
"New Orleans is full of vacant storefronts and people who need things. My neighborhood is still without a full-service grocery store. So I made these fill-in-the-blank stickers to give us an easy tool to voice what we want where we want it. Fill them out and put them on abandoned buildings and beyond. It’s a fun, low-barrier tool for citizens to provide civic input on-site, and the results reflect the hopes, dreams, and colorful imaginations in different neighborhoods. These stickers are free and can be found in corner stores, cafes, bookstores, bars, hair salons, and other places around New Orleans. They’re also waiting for your thoughts on vacant storefronts and blighted houses around the city."
