The Magnited States Of America...

This video clip has been called dark horse of the top 10 this month by imediaconnection.com. To quote from the post "Alamo Drafthouse leaps into fifth place with 5.6 million views. This virtual no-name brand is another example of how the playing field has been leveled to the point that small, regional chains can garner comparable view counts to those of multi-national brands. However, the marketing approach of the Alamo Drafthouse is perhaps not one big brands are likely to adopt anytime soon. The Texas film theater chain released this response video to a disgruntled customer who left an anonymous voicemail after getting kicked out of the theater (warning: language NSFW)."

The Future Began Here...

"A jump shot could get you...

A shoe deal...
A supermodel...
A big house...
fancy cars...
A bunch of yes men...
and a swiss bank account...

...but none of these things...can get you a jumpshot...

I am what I am"

Write The Future...

"One goal, one pass, one game saving tackle can be the difference between fame and forgotten. What happens on the pitch in that split second has a ripple effect that goes beyond the match and the tournament. ‘Write the Future’ was a messaging platform that allowed Nike to show how football creates this ripple effect. It allowed us to give a glimpse into the future to see what the players were really playing for, in their own lives and the lives of those that follow them."

From The Horses Mouth

Considering the cynism, with which common people see their leaders, this campaign's tag line could probably also have been "From The Horses Mouth"

Product Placement... Lenovo... And Transformers 3....

To quote from this post on brandchannel.com "T3 is also a commercial juggernaut so knitted together with product placement that it's impossible to tell where the film ends and the commercial begins."

And another quote from the same post says... "Lenovo. Lenovo. Lenovo. The computer-maker's name was everywhere. The brand even ran tie-in ads in India"

This Soda's First Television Ad Since 25 Years

"It has been 25 years since the iconic Big Red soda has released a television commercial. Big Red crowdsourced to get some great idea pitches, and this is one of the great ideas collaborators came up with. Big Red: Tastes Good To Be Different." Via:

The Hero And The Villain... Pepsi...

In the Philippines, this ad has gone successfully viral.
Many in India may well say that the dialogues are like those from the films of Dharmendra or Rajnikant...

This Ad Stood Out...

To quote blogger Bhatnaturally "Who would’ve thought that a statistic like ‘every 60 seconds a species dies out‘ could be visualized so powerfully?"

To quote wikipedia "Today, typography in advertising often reflects a company's brand. Fonts used in advertisements convey different messages to the reader, classical fonts are for a strong personality, while more modern fonts are for a cleaner, neutral look. Bold fonts are used for making statements and attracting attention".
