Are All Husbands (Characters) In Commercials Morons???

If one were to read this post on http://www.brandchannel.com and look at the use of the emphasis word even... 
 "Even in Pakistan, commercial husbands are morons."
This would mean to imply that husbands in commercials elsewhere too are morons...
Are they?
